From Cambridge to Penzance (Picture Heavy!)

From the 26th July to the 1st August, i spent my time down in Cornwall with my lovely Mr & my Rents. We were incredibly lucky with our weather as it was glorious sunshine every day, except the last day (which i guess is allowed after giving us perfect weather!) It was a lovely time away with my favourite people, and we had some great adventures! From spending time on the beach to wandering 'round St. Ives on a Ghost Walk.

I absolutely adore the Cornwall coast, it's beautiful and when the weather is right, all you want to do is explore the little harbours, poke your head in all the quaint little shops and eat multiple scoops of ice cream at seaside cafes (mint choc & orange and mascapone are my current faves)

My favourite spots have to be St. Ives, St. Michael's Mount & The harbour at Newquay - The main stream beaches, such as Fistral, are a little packed, and touristy for me, whereas the the harbour is smaller, quaint and also has a little beach where you can watch the seals chase the fishing boats and have a classic, Cornwall Kelly's ice cream!

I ate too much ice cream, and good food throughout the week i have definitely put on weight! But as Maria says, if you can't enjoy yourself on holiday, when can you!?
