Friday Feeling #7

After reading Michelle's smiley, positive blog post, i decided to take a leaf out of her book and commend the things that are making me smile at the minute. After all, the (a lot) of the world seems like quite a gloomy place, at the moment. I'm sure, like me, you've all got a thousand things on your plate, and i'm also sure that we could all do with a jolly good smile!

001.
(Skirt: Topshop / Leggings: Next Tall / Top: Primark / Cardigan: H&M / Necklace: Lady Luck Rules OK)
Thrown together outfits: Sometimes the outfits that are very last minute, are always the work the best!

002.
Despite being horrified at the first listen of "Do It Like A Dude", she has seriously grown on me and it's, now, safe to say that i am a loyal follow of 'The J', & have just downloaded 'Who You Are' - It's full of classic Jessie J, punchy, catchy and something you can bop to.

003. After her amazing, and creative revamp, Becci's brand new blog is seriously worth checking out! Faint Hearted Sparrow started out as the fashion musings of a shy, underestimated lady. Now, Sparrow is the opinions and outfit posts of a woman who knows what she wants! She may not always feel her best, as many of us don't sometimes, but she's happy with what she's got and has no problem with sharing her ideas and outfits with the world, and i commend her! While reading her blog, over past months, i've seen her blossom into something really quite fabulous!

004. As you all may, or may not, know i am serious Kirstie Allsopp fan! After religiously following all series of Kirstie's Homemade Home, it made me love her even more, nevermind inspiring my creative flare! Well, to inspire me even more, she has teamed up with M&S to create a beautiful range of home accessories and things keep your flare alive! I've had my eye on this Stamp Correspondance Set for far too long, and as it's my birthday next month i'm hoping to spend a little bit of birthday money on it!

005. Kirstie's Correspondance Set may also come in handy as i have joined up to Gem's Pen Pal Exchange! The thought of sending, and receiving, beautiful letters, meeting some lovely new blogging ladies and having a fab time, is an oppurtunity i couldn't pass up on! Unfortunately, the deadline has now closed but she has said that she may open up the scheme again sometime, so keep your eyes peeled!

006. I would also like to send out my love & thoughts to all affected by the devestation in Japan, and surrounding areas, whether you're affected directly, or in directly, i'm my thoughts are with you all! <3

007. I'd just like to take a second to say that i am now becoming ever so busy with FMP work, and am slacking slightly on the blog front! My time is split between FMP, planning my Easter break so FMP doesn't entirely rule my life(!) and thinking about FMP! So, i am still here, i promise! Bare with me and i'll keep you up to date as much as possible. (If anyone has any suggestions for directions with my Masculine & Feminine topic, they would be gratefully received!)

Happy Friday, and Keep Smiling!

  1. I can't wait for Gemma's penpal exchange to start! I love writing letters and sending mail, it's the thought that has gone into putting together a letter, that makes it special.

I love the Kirstie Allsopp correspondence set, I bet there hasn't been a week gone by since getting it that I haven't stamped something! So fun! xxx
