#BEAUTY101 | S/S Revlon Lip Butter Releases

I am a huge Revlon Lip Butters fan, i think that they're honestly my all time favourite lip item. I know that at the moment everyone is raving for the lip tints and lip stains but those products are definitely not my cup of tea. I don't really know why i can't bring myself to wear a lip stain but i think it has something to do with the commitment, i don't want to have to commit to that product for a long period of time and i'm more than happy to do touch ups. So these are ideal for me. I think that with time these products have even improved, the pigment has gotten a lot better and they're not even so much a sheer wash of colour anymore like they were known to be. These three new shades are all pretty well coloured and i really like that with the added bonus of moisturisation. So, lets get into these three new shades!

Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya | This is the one colour i wasn't going to pick up. I was a little worried it would be a bit pale for me, or failing that be too sheer to bother with but as it was three for two and i was desperate for the other colours i thought i might as well give it a go. I'm very glad i did as it's much more than the packaging, or bullet, lets on. Although, yes, it's obviously a peachy shade it still manages to be quite warm which really suits my skin tone. It is also more sheer than the other two shades, but this is kind of to be expected because of the colour but i really, really like it. It's the kind of colour that's pretty easy to throw on and would look great for a relaxed look in the Summer or for completing a layered look in Winter, it's just that versatile.

Revlon Lip Butter in Sorbet | I'm often a little scared of pinks because there are so many tones that just do not suit me. This, however, i think would look good on so many skin tones. Despite it really packing a punch in the pigment stakes it still manages to be kind of sheer which really takes the edge off. It's also got some blue undertones in there which we all know helps to make your teeth whiter.

Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon | Now this is the little number i originally went in for. It's the most gorgeous pinky red that just really suits paler skin tones, especially as it's got that glossy sheer edge but it really does pack some colour so don't be expecting nothing to go onto the lip! This really is beautiful, i think this is one of those colours that can really jazz up an outfit during the day or can bring an outfit together for the evening. This one is a real must buy!
