I love this playsuit. It's a real classic in my wardrobe, as i've worn it time and time again for various different situations. I've had for a really long time, and it was actually really pricey when i bought it. I remember loving it but thinking how much money it was, but i'm so glad i caved and got it anyway. It's just gorgeous; red is one of my favourite colours and i think it just suits my skintone perfectly. It's so easy to throw on with it's elasticated waist, however sometimes doing the buttons up at the back can be a bit of a dilemma. The ruffle at the front just gives it a bit of oomph, as otherwise i would be quite plain.

Now, we all know i'm rather long in the leg department and as i've said before, it takes a lot for me to get my legs out in the sun. I rarely go anywhere without tights, in this country, unless it's a scorcher. After a lot of washes and a lot of wares, and probably some growing on my part, this little number got banished to the back of my wardrobe because it was getting a little short around the bum and i was no longer confident wearing it. I cannot even begin to explain how wrong short shorts are, there really is no need to see bum cheek. However, i couldn't bare to part with it so i decided that something had to be done. All it took was a trip to John Lewis' haberdashery department and voila! A little crochet addition. I actually really love how it turned out, it's got a very boho, festival vibe to it which i think is really cute and now i feel much more comfortable wearing this with or without tights, and it'll be making the trip with me this Summer, on holiday too.
