RED

So, i have been waiting for forever to wear these beautiful red jeans, i had to take them in at the side as they were a little too big, but they're more or less perfect now! (I still stand by Tall jeans though!) Just needed something simple, easy and nice but comfy as i went to the hairdressers to get my hair re-dyed as it was getting horrendous! So this is what i threw on:
Jeans: H&M / Top: H&M / Necklaces: Claire's

Note to self: I really must wear my hair like this more often as i really like it up & curly! So happy to be able to finally get these beauties on my pins, and they've just made me want more coloured denim! However, coloured denim is really hard to find in Tall collections! Boo. I tell you what i am loving, being able to have my nails painted 24/7! No more taking it off for Sundays!

Polish: The ELLE Grey (Free with Elle this month!) & Gosh: Oh My Gosh 012 Orange Splash

Loving the mixing of colours at the moment, and love the idea of having a really basic colour (like this Grey) paired with a pop of colour.

And finally, a sneak peek of my beautiful new barnet! I feel like the little mermaid!

Which Jacket Will Do?

Frankly, the British is firmly beginning to get right on my nerves.

Today, has been spent planning for my lovely Mr's 21st birthday on Friday! I'm full of surprises, me, and i can't wait to let loose! So, i've been running errands all day and just wanted something simple i could throw on this morning! I opted for this:

Blazer: H&M / Top: H&M / Shorts: Topshop / Necklaces: Claire's / Bag: Gift|River Island / Scarf (On Bag): Little Cornwall Boutique

These denim shorts and this loose white tank top are the ultimate in throw on chic! And i tell you what, it isn't half comfy. This gorgeous blazer literally took about 5 minutes to buy, i walked in, saw it, tried it on and it was at the till with me before you could say perfect! It's a totally different style to something i would normally go for as it's boyfriend, in shape, but girly, in colour! Two things i tend to stay away from, but something just stood out for me, however i am having trouble pairing it; so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, what would you wear it with? Talking of the perfect jacket, i just purchased this coveted beauty and cannot wait for it to be in my greedy mitts! It totally sold out in store, and online, so i have to wait a little while for it to be back in stock but it will be well worth the wait (that's if the fit is right!)

Nail Varnish: Rimmel: Green With Envy & Model's Own: Jade Stone

I'm loving this colour combination! Turquoise & Jade Green, beautiful for this up and down weather!

Considering said ridiculous weather, after putting on my beautiful blazer, the flipping sun blazed through the clouds making it rather too warm for my pink number, so i opted for this rather more summery attire (However, just before leaving the house i grabbed my H&M Mustard Cardigan for moral support and ended up wearing it all day.. Thank GB Weather!) I went through a real jacket phase at one stage, and so did New Look so i have a few little summery jackets that i love to throw on when i can (aka when the weather is co-operating)

Jacket: New Look Circa 2009

It feels good to be posting an OOTD! I hope to get back to blogging, for the next week at least, as next week i shall be residing in York for a week away with the Rents and my lovely friend Jenna.

From Cambridge to Penzance (Picture Heavy!)

From the 26th July to the 1st August, i spent my time down in Cornwall with my lovely Mr & my Rents. We were incredibly lucky with our weather as it was glorious sunshine every day, except the last day (which i guess is allowed after giving us perfect weather!) It was a lovely time away with my favourite people, and we had some great adventures! From spending time on the beach to wandering 'round St. Ives on a Ghost Walk.

I absolutely adore the Cornwall coast, it's beautiful and when the weather is right, all you want to do is explore the little harbours, poke your head in all the quaint little shops and eat multiple scoops of ice cream at seaside cafes (mint choc & orange and mascapone are my current faves)

My favourite spots have to be St. Ives, St. Michael's Mount & The harbour at Newquay - The main stream beaches, such as Fistral, are a little packed, and touristy for me, whereas the the harbour is smaller, quaint and also has a little beach where you can watch the seals chase the fishing boats and have a classic, Cornwall Kelly's ice cream!

I ate too much ice cream, and good food throughout the week i have definitely put on weight! But as Maria says, if you can't enjoy yourself on holiday, when can you!?

Blog Win!

So, i'm slowly catching up with everyday life now as so much has happened in the last 3ish weeks, but it's all happened so quickly! One thing that did happen just before i went away was that i was lucky enough to be the winner of Laura's Giveaway! I was over the moon as i've been a loyal follower of That's So Yesterday for a long time, if you haven't already discovered her - go take a look for yourself!

So after a little wait, my little parcel came winging through my letterbox! (Well, technically it tried to wing through my letterbox but i missed it, so had to wing myself to the post office to pick it up.)

It contained: Paul Smith Optimistic Purfume, Beautiful Pearly Beaded Bracelete, Eyelure Sex & the City Eyelashes & Eyeko Petite Polish.

I loved the eyelashes so much, i had to buy some for my friend, Nicole, for her birthday! They have adorable stars in the corner of each set. The perfume is perfect, something i would have picked for myself as it's not too girly, or floral, but a little more musky which is exactly what i go for - perrrfect!

It was so lovely to receive all wrapped up in it's pink tissue and ribbon, with a cute little post it from Laura! It's all about the little touches, so thank you Laura for such a fab prize!

I also thought i'd just share with you this bargain purchase that i acquired just before my holiday. I've been lusting over this Zara Taylor beauty for months, but at £21.99 plus P&P i wasn't sure i could really justify the buy, but when i spyed this almost identical version at Eclectic Eccentricity while it was in the sale for just a fiver, with a few quid delivery i couldn't not! So it now happily resides in my jewellery box, for now.

What have you bought/acquired lately?
