That Orange Jumper

I know, i know! This jumper is not part of my 30 for 20 but when i woke up this morning, it freezing cold and raining - and when i chose my remix items, i really didn't consider the weather! So i thought that it'd be not so cheating as i have already used it already, i could have just chosen something else but i decided to do as little cheating as possible!

Throughout the day today i've began to feel really unwell, so it ended up being a good feeling crappy outfit - comfy! I've also been working my little socks off to do my design board, which i have forgotten about, but that's pretty much done so all in all it's not been a bad day! xo

As today is not part of my 30 for 20, and it is my mother's birthday, i decided it appropriate to get a little dressy and i really love this combination - definitely going to work this again!

It was nice to spend some time out with the fam, and even better over some delicious food! In a couple weeks, i'm going away with the Mr & his family, for his mum's birthday, and i'm so excited to wear some different things! I'm loving mixing and matching but i definitely miss having an unlimited selection - i'm such a fussy dresser! It'll be Friday to Sunday, and i'm considering doing a special post/posts about my outfits as it's going to be a pretty well dressed weekend, i feel! I miss my poor wardrobe, bring on payday! xo

Red Alert

I spent a lovely day shopping with my mother, the weather has been totally irregular today! Sunshine, then clouds, sunshine, then clouds and the wind has been crazy!

Red H&M Shorts / Black & White H&M Top / Black H&M Cardigan / Tesco Tights / Claire's Golden Ball Necklace/ Floral H&M Scarf / Red Snake Lock River Island Satchel Via Gift / Vintage Sunglasses

It was so hit & miss that i did, in fact, throw on my Black Quilted Tesco Jacket, which is indeed part of my 30 for 20, just to add some extra warmth - as i am usually ALWAYS freezing. However, this did not spoil our day! I love spending time with my mum, she's like a best friend and we're very good at chit chatting! Plus, it's nice to have her to shop with as we pretty much help each other out, and appreciate each others advice! I'm sure many of you love to spend quality time with your mums too! It's her birthday tomorrow, and i'm very excited to go out to dinner with her and my dad, it'll be nice to actually take the time to sit down and chat, as things get so busy. It's nice to take that time out of a hectic schedule and daily grind to really make time for your family! Especially as it won't be as easy anymore, as of September with me moving to Southampton - which, by the way, i am getting even more excited for, especially reading Michelle's fab blog and looking at her incredible work!

Well, talking of shopping, i am desperately trying to make use of Boots' fabulous 3 for 2 offer on make up before time runs out, and i have been meaning to get my mitts on some Models Own Polish for a while and i finally got around to it!

"Jade Stone", "Purple Ash" & "Champagne"

Sadly, when i got home i found that the "Purple Ash" bottle was totally broken at the top, and unable to fasten which is very annoying as the boots i bought them from isn't close by and our local doesn't stock the brand! It does suck, but at least i didn't actually pay for it and it wasn't actually the colour i went for - i've been yearning for the "Vintage Pink" for FAR too long and i took this as a sign to get my arse in to gear and order it for myself, online! I added the "Fuzzy Peach" into my bag for good measure too... I managed to get a few other bits & bobs today too, including some lipsticks, as i'd really like to get into lippy for daytime! I'll do a post with my opinions soon, as there is absolutely NO point in me painting my nails tonight as i have work tomorrow and have to have clean nails!

As i said, i'm going out to dinner with my parents tomorrow night, for mum's birthday, and as tomorrow also isn't included in my 30 for 20 - i'm excited to wear something lovely for the occasion! Hoorah!

PS. I keep forgetting to mention! If you haven't been into Superdrug recently, you must! They have fashioned what is basically a 'Boots Card' for Superdrug! It works the same way as the Boots version, you earn points when you buy things and when you have enough points, you can use the instead of cash! I find it really handy, and it's such a good idea - save up your points for something you'd really like!

Friday Feeling #16

001. This is what i wore today, for what turned out to be a very productive day!

Tall Blue Topshop Jeans / Peach New Look Tank Top / White Strappy H&M Top / Leopard Print H&M Cardigan / Claire's Clock Pendant Necklace

I just wanted something easy & comfortable so i didn't have to worry about pulling anything up, or down, etc. These jeans were my first Topshop Tall purchase, and i've been a loyal customer ever since, and as for this top - i love the colour! It's so summery and makes me feel happy.

002. My Final Major Project is finally done! All i have to do is finish my design board and i'm entirely finished. We're putting up the exhibition next week and then the week after, it's up! So if any of you are around the Cambridge area on the 25th, 26th or 27th do come and pay us a visit! I'll give you more details and a little reminder closer to the time. I'm so relieved it's done, but very happy, if not a little sad that the course i've moaned about for the past year is FINALLY coming to an end.

As i've probably already bored you with, my theme was masculine/feminine, and this is from the set of masculine photos. 004. To be honest, this week has literally been spent working my arse off - hopefully i'll have more exciting news next week, as my mother is taking me shopping this weekend as a treat for working so hard; i feel i deserve it! But don't worry, this will not be effecting my 30 for 20, oh no! I can show my treasures but they will not be gracing your screens, in an outfit post, for another 13 days!

I seriously love this floral cardigan i picked up in the Oxford Street branch of H&M, i'd previously seen the blue version in my local but i much preferred this lovely summery red version!

I know that the whole blogging world and their mother has tried out the crackle polish trend, but i've finally joined the bandwagon and bought myself the Barry M Instant Nail Effects polish in white & black. I love the effect, when it works, but i've found it can be a little hit & miss.
